Averest do not collect any of your personal information if you choose to browse the Site as an unregistered user. You will remain anonymous to us and we will only collect product viewing information as an anonymous user based on your activities on the Site.
When you register a Member Account with Averest, the below user information will be collected subject to your consent:
Company Name, Date of Incorporation, Business Address, Delivery Address, Email address, Telephone Number, Mobile Number, Name of Contact Person.
Disclosure of User Information
Averest do not sell, share or trade user information collected with any third party except those directly related to the delivery of the products you have purchased or enquired on Averest.
The user information collected from each Member Account will only be used internally for the purpose as set forth below:
When you submit an inquiry online, we will share your email address to the supplier of the product you enquire.
When you request for a Quotation online, we may pass your Company Name, Delivery Address and Email address to the supplier for the preparation of Quotation.
When you place an Online Order, we may pass your Company Name, Delivery Address, Email address and telephone number to the supplier in order to make a delivery of the product to you.
Update of User Information & Removal of records
You may update your user information by logging into your Member Account on the Site. Averest will not make any amendment to user information and will never ask for your password by phone or e-mail. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that its password is kept safe to avoid any unauthorized access. In the event if your password has been compromised, you should immediately notify Averest and change your password.
Averest will store and keep records of your Member Account as long as it remains active and for a period of 7 years after the account becomes inactive. Should you wish to close your Member Account and remove your records, please notify Averest customer service team.
Storage of User Information
User Information collected is store on our server. Access to User Information files is restricted and is only granted to approved personnel. Averest will continuously ensure that security tools & procedures are put in place to protect your information from unauthorized access. However, Averest will not be held accountable in the event of an unlawful interception (such as hacking) from a third party.
