How can I apply to be a seller?
How much is the membership fee to be a Seller?
Seller will be charged a first year set-up fee according to the membership packages as stated below.

Approval of Seller is subject to payment of the First Year Set-up fee. The fee with payment instruction will be invoiced to the Seller upon completion of the registration form.
Will Seller or Buyer incur any charges?
If the transaction is made offline (i.e. If the Buyer contacts the Seller directly without placing an order online), NO transaction fee will be charged.
Only if a transaction is made on the Site, a 2.5% transaction fee will be charged on the Seller.
Averest shall be authorized to collect payment on behalf of the Seller via the online payment service provided on the Site. The payment collected from Buyer shall be held by Averest until the Buyer confirms the completion of the transaction by acknowledging receipt of the goods. If Buyer fails to acknowledge receipt of goods, the transaction shall be auto-confirmed 14 days after the date of the delivery of the goods and Averest shall collect evidence of goods delivery from Seller. The payment shall be released to the Seller within 5 business days from the date which the transaction is confirmed. This arrangement is known as the Secure Trade service. As such, a transaction fee of 2.5% will be charged on the Seller (subject to a minimum of RM1 per transaction) due to payment gateway charges for online Direct Debit, FPX or Credit Card payment.

Can a Buyer contact me directly?
Yes. A registered Buyer may contact a Seller directly by clicking on the "Contact Seller" button as displayed below.
How can I check, receive and reply buyer's "Request for Quote"?
Can I post a product without showing my price?
Yes. You may post your product without price as shown in the example below.
Buyers who are interested in your product will then submit their “Request for Quotation”. You can decide to give a quotation to the buyer after assessing its identity. Alternatively, you may reply to the customer request by giving the customer your contact number for face to face negotiation.
How can I display or sell my products on Averest?
If the product is Fixed Price and In-Stock
You may wish to post your item as “In-Stock” with a fixed price so that customer can purchase the item directly.
User will have the option to “Add to Cart” as shown below.
If the product is Fixed Price but Out of Stock
You may set the product status as “Sold Out” and quantity as “0”. Customer will not be able to purchase this item until the Seller updates the quantity available and changes the status back to “In-Stock”.
The Sold Out status will be displayed as shown on the product availability and top left corner below.
If the product is custom-made to customer’s specification with variable lead time.
You may post the product with “-” price as shown below and as a Pre-Order item.

What is the difference between "ADD TO CART" AND "REQUEST FOR QUOTE" for products?
For “ADD TO CART” products, Buyer can directly click on “Add to Cart” to purchase the item and proceed to make payment via the Online Payment Service provided in the Site.
For “REQUEST FOR QUOTE” item, Buyer can only click on “Request for Quote” to submit or drop a message to Seller to request for quotation.
If a buyer places an order online, who is responsible for the delivery of goods?
The shipment or transportation of the goods will be fulfilled by the Seller. The goods shall be delivered by a freight forwarder, carrier or logistics provider appointed by the Seller.
Who bears the delivery or shipping charges?
Delivery or shipping charges will be borne by the Buyer. All product prices published are non-inclusive of shipping or delivery charges. Seller can charge delivery or shipping charges to the buyer. Delivery or shipping charges will be added to the product price when the buyer proceeds to Checkout page.
How does the seller charge the buyer for the delivery or shipping charges?
Seller can set up the delivery or shipping charges to be charged on the customer according to the delivery location and parcel weight as shown below. When customer submits an order for a product, the system will automatically use this information to calculate the shipping charges to be charged to the customer.
What is the estimated delivery time that a Seller needs to fulfill?
Seller will need to deliver the product to Buyer within the below timeframe.
